Customers and carriers come in all sizes and with all different capabilities. Therefore the 3PL must be capable of communicating to the customer or carrier or any involved party in any way that makes sense. Users may send triggered alerts and even robust interactive email messages to different parties in the shipping process. From email tenders and spot quotes to tracking event messages, email may be used seamlessly with MercuryGate to keep all parties informed of the information they need to know when they need to know it.
