The modules contain logical groupings of functions, which we can quickly enable or disable in your solution, depending on what your business and budget dictates. You never pay for a solution that is far more sophisticated than what you really need. The Modules
The modules that we use to create your custom solution include:
- MercuryRate
- The foundation for the complete rate and contract management process.
- MercuryLInk
- The real-time linkage of information about how orders relate to shipments, etc.
- MercuryShip
- The brains that support manual or automated analysis and assignments of orders to a specific shipping method.
- MercuryView
- Provides the visibility needed by all authorized transportation process participants.
- MercuryBill
- Supports billing and timely reconciliation of accounts between shippers and carriers.
- MercuryOpt
- Provides internet-enabled visibility and collaboration support needed to perform sophisticated optimization, such as cross-docking, merge in-transit, consolidations and zone skipping.

- The analytic platform that supports automated analysis of thousands of variables that affect transportation costs and decisions.

- The advanced load planning technology that takes varied truck weights and volumes into account to determine exactly how the cargo should be palletized, stacked and arranged in the trailer.

Note to MercuryGate reviewer: Should we make each module name above be a link to separate pages that provide the full descriptions that appear on your current site? Or is this sufficient, since we're not trying to promote a module-centric solution concept. Are there any aspects of your agreement with technology partners that would require you to name them in these abbreviated descriptions? (Perhaps those could be addressed/described under the Alliances section, instead.)
