Multicarrier Parcel Management
From service level optimization to freight bill auditing, the MercuryGate TMS supports small package shipments natively. There's no longer a need for a separate application for parcel freight – regardless of the volumes of shipments you process.
Less than Truckload
The MercuryGate TMS rating 'engine' puts your LTL carriers and their rates at your fingertips. It manages LTL shipment costing and pricing, including carrier-specific discounts, minimum charges, deficit rating and FAK charges, in a streamlined and efficient process. Optimize your transportation spend by consolidating shipments, creating multi-stop loads, and by considering pooling points and backhauls.
Truckload
The MercuryGate TMS handles the end-to-end process of managing full truckload freight. Contract rates, industry averages, spot quotes, and load boards help you find the best carrier and rate for your load. Dispatch and track loads across town or across the country. The TMS will match the carrier's invoice to your known loads and highlight any exceptions so they can be worked out.
Air
Connect to air carriers directly or through intermediaries to find flight schedules & rates, tender loads, and settle at completion. Support the rating of door-to-door shipments complete with air schedules from the air freight providers.
Ocean
The MercuryGate TMS delivers an end-to-end freight solution to automate bookings with steamship lines, create required documentation, track, and settle financials. It will break the route down to its individual building blocks while maintaining an overall view of the load. Legs, activities, and containers are planned and managed as the goods move through the transportation chain.
Rail
If your transportation mix includes rail shipments, the MercuryGate TMS supports your end-to-end routes with junction points while capturing all costs. Execute shipments from shipper to consignee, complete with rail schedules, and execute with rail specific EDI messages. Tender using Rule 11 or through-rates and reconcile rail invoices, including EDI 410 transactions.
Intermodal
Construct door-to-door routes that include any combination of air, ocean, ground, and rail. Save intermodal rating templates for the benefit of automatically selecting and applying intermodal rates and schedules to future shipments.
