MercuryGate TMS Enables TRANSCORE 3Sixty and DATConnect

With over 70,000 carriers, covering loads just got easier

CARY, NC – October 29, 2008 – MercuryGate, the industry leading TMS software vendor for logistics service providers (LSP), has become the first full function TMS to enable access to TransCore's 3Sixty and DATConnect. From within the MercuryGate TMS users search the real time database of available carrier capacity through both TransCore's DATConnect and 3Sixty products. This enablement allows users to seamlessly tap into the over 70,000 carriers in the DAT Network and find the right truck for their customer movements. Searches may be limited by using filter criteria such as mileage radius from the origin and/or destination, equipment type, dates, etc. A list of available carriers and equipment along with their contact information is presented to the user right in the TMS. Users may also post loads to the DAT Network load board by simply clicking on the post option from the TMS. When the load is covered the posting it is then automatically removed.

TransCore's DAT Network was established over 30 years ago and is recognized as a trusted, online site for matching loads and trucks.

"The TransCore enablement provides a powerful tool for our brokerage clients to both find matching trucks as well as post loads." said, Monica Wooden, MercuryGate's CEO. "By reducing redundant processes and streamlining the processes our clients become more effective resulting in increased revenues."

About MercuryGate International

MercuryGate delivers solutions that allow shippers, carriers, freight forwarders and third party logistics providers to plan their transportation, execute their freight movements, and analyze the performance of all involved. Customers optimize loads, rate and route loads, spot quote through both private and public bid boards, tender freight, track movements, audit carrier freight invoices, and send customer invoices. Through a customizable workflow engine, MercuryGate customers are able to move the straightforward parcel, LTL (less than truckload), and truckload shipments as well as the more demanding multi-leg ocean, air, and rail movements. Customers may then analyze the information gathered as they move freight to provide key performance indicators on their internal business as well as on carriers, suppliers, and all parties in the supply chain.
