Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) completed a successful implementation of the MercuryGate TMS in 6 weeks and saw the immediate benefits of automated carrier selection, elimination of manual spreadsheets, and enhanced reporting.

But CPI didn't stop there. This manufacturer of systems designed to organize, store and secure IT infrastructure equipment, wanted to see further staff efficiencies.

Working with CPI logistics employees, the MercuryGate team created a customized portal for use in the MercuryGate TMS to reduce the number of steps to process each shipment. CPI automated an intensive 21-step process to 9 steps in their initial TMS implementation and then further automated the process to 3 steps using a custom TMS portal.
