  • Manage carrier information

    Keep information about carriers in one place: contacts, insurance, equipment type, and carrier type for all modes (LTL, TL, Rail, Intermodal, Air Freight, Ocean and Multimodal). Also define how you'll exchange quotes, tenders, status updates, and other information with your carriers (i.e. EDI, email, or web portal).

  • Manage contracts for all modes

    Manage the carrier's rates and accessorials. You can set up a template so you don't have to type the same thing over and over again if you have several similar contracts. If you'd prefer, you can keep your rates in a spreadsheet and easily import them.

  • Manage service areas for all modes

    Define the lanes that you'll need and then assign them to the carriers that are available to serve them. You'll have a lot of flexibility to define the lanes in a way that works best for your company. The system can even analyze historical shipment data to automatically identify the lanes you'll need.

  • Manage the bid-procure process

    For each lane, you can easily send bid requests to selected carriers. A request can be in the form of an email or via the web portal so it'll be very easy for them to respond quickly.

    When bids are received, the system will help you evaluate the responses and convert the winning bids directly into useable contracts so you can immediately tender freight to the winning carriers.

    You can also post shipments to public or private bid boards to find willing carriers. When a shipment has been assigned to a carrier, the posting will be automatically removed from the bid board.

    Spot quote requests can also be sent to a list of carriers. Those carriers can respond to the request with an amount or by clicking the "book it now" button to immediately agree to the predetermined price (click here to read about how Siemens Energy is using this feature). These features are made available to carriers or restricted by you on a carrier-by-carrier and load-by-load basis.
