Dock Scheduling

MercuryGate Dock Scheduling was developed for speed, efficiency, and visibility.  Whether you manage one dock door or 100, scheduling is often a source of delay, confusion and miscommunication that can cost your company time and money.  MercuryGate Dock Scheduling eliminates guesswork and scheduling conflicts.  This valuable feature of MercuryGate TMS will undoubtedly streamline your dock operations.

Detailed Dock Management

Since your warehouse location and dock configuration is unique to you, MercuryGate Dock Scheduling allows you to configure and manage the workflow and process of your dock operations to meet your unique operational requirements and to ensure that your process is followed.   After initial setup, Dock Scheduling automatically loads and recognizes rules and procedures down to each individual door, shipment, and carrier.

Door-level synchronization - each dock door can be configured to allow or not allow a wide array of shipment, driver, equipment, and carrier variables:

  • Define available hours for each dock
    • Designate inbound/outbound intervals
    • Specify available services
  • System calculates loading/unloading duration
    • User specifies minutes per UoM, Mode or Load
  • Read or write access is granted by role authority
  • Authorized users can view dock slots and assign loads
